A proud reminder from the National Ploughing Championships as we receive our 2025 Machine of the Year Award trophy from Noel Dunne for the Mastek Combi Pump.
The Mastek Combi Pump combines two essential systems — a high-capacity chopper pump and a 300 CFM compressor — in one compact, rear-mounted machine.
Designed for agricultural contractors and farmers using umbilical slurry systems, it allows slurry to be pumped efficiently over long distances and, once spreading is complete, the compressor can be used to blow out and clean the lay-flat hose.
Instead of requiring separate machines for pumping and air blowing, operators can switch between the two functions using Mastek’s patent-pending changeover clutch. This simplifies the setup, saves time and makes better use of the tractor.
For contractors with front linkage, a hose reeler can be mounted at the front while the Combi Pump operates at the rear, providing additional hose capacity and allowing two operators to roll out hose simultaneously.
Winning Machine of the Year 2025 was fantastic recognition for an innovation designed around real-world contractor needs.
We may not be exhibiting at the Ploughing this year, but we’re very proud to look back on this achievement.

Mastek is proud to announce that the Combi Pump has been awarded Machine of the Year 2025 at the National Ploughing Championships.
This recognition crowns years of development and innovation. In 2018, Mastek launched its Front PTO Compressor, which proved highly successful. However, many contractors did not have front PTOs, others needed the front linkage for reels, and some found the compressor difficult to manoeuvre in tight yards. These challenges inspired us to design a pump and compressor combined in one compact unit.
The result is the Mastek Combi Pump, a self-contained machine offering easier handling, reduced maintenance, and total control from the rear of the tractor. Its standout feature is the patent-pending manual clutch system, which allows one PTO shaft to drive both pump and compressor. Operators simply stop the PTO after pumping and switch the clutch to engage the compressor — a design never achieved before.
With an output of 300 CFM at 10 bar, a safety one-way valve, and compatibility with Mastek/Chior, Bauer, or Doda pumps, the Combi Pump delivers unmatched efficiency and reliability
